Mercedes-Benz Portugal took the reduction of VAT from 21% to 20% for simultaneously making adjustments in the management of the product, thus making it even more competitive in the motorization of the biggest selling Class C.

Mercedes-Benz Portugal took the reduction of VAT from 21% to 20% for simultaneously making adjustments in the management of the product, thus making it even more competitive in the motorization of the biggest selling Class C.

Thus, since July 1, 2008, the version of the Limousine Class C 220 CDI presents a price of € 44,189, representing a significant reduction of 4% when compared with the previous price.

This adjustment in the price of the Class C 220 CDI has an impact also on the version that presents Station, now a cost of € 46,762, a figure about 3% lower compared to the price of venda previously charged to the public.

Note that the new generation of Class C, whose version Limousine was launched in spring 2007, quickly assumed the leadership of its segment in the same year, further consolidating its position in the 1 st half of 2008. In turn, the version Station, launched most recently, presented in the 1 st half of this year, an increase in sales amounting to 200% compared with the same period.
