The new Seat Ibiza Ecomotive achieved an important victory in the 10th edition of Eco Tour, a hard driving economic marathon that took place between days 13 and September 19, the European continent, where Seat not only ended its participation in first place in the category "small diesel vehicles" as also awarded the victory with an absolute average consumption of 3.8 liters per 100 km

A total of 42 teams from 14 different countries - among them were participants from Spain, Germany, Holland and Italy - took part in Eco Tour 2008, whose aim is to demonstrate the advantages of an economic driving, which apart from reducing the cost of fuel, also reduces the impact on the environment.

The 20 brands participants were divided into 6 categories: "small cars", "compact cars" and "family vehicles", diesel and gasoline. Every day, the teams changed cars within its category and travel a distance up to 400. Starting in Barcelona, the route took the participants in cities such as Avignon, Lyon, Geneva, Como, Stuttgart, Luxembourg and Brussels, finishing in La Haya.

The yield of the new Seat Ibiza Ecomotive was magnificent, with a deserved victory and demonstrating the Seat of the sustainability of the environment and its influence in the manufacture of vehicles with some excellent economic benefits.

Based on this commitment to the environment, Seat present in the Paris Salon the next version of the new Seat Ibiza Ecomotive.
