Nissan presented a new tool that promises to help the driver to consume less fuel - the ECO pedal.

The Japanese brand developed the ECO pedal with environmental concerns and innovative at the accelerator. The system that pushes the accelerator when the driver accelerates too, informs the driver that is spending in excess fuel. By indicating the consumption in real time helps the driver to change their behaviour reducing the consumption of 5 to 10%. The aim is not only in lower fuel consumption and to reduce CO2 emissions.

The "Eco pedal 'may, however, be deactivated when the driver so wishes.
The Nissan already moved to this new system vai be adapted in some models of the range, as early as next year.
