Chevrolet Camaro - new version faithful to the concept

The new Chevrolet Camaro was already presented in Detroit. The new generation of the flagship model of the American brand combines a modern image and a surprising performance and totally faithful to the tradition of the concept, based on advanced technology.

The new Chevrolet Camaro was already presented in Detroit. The new generation of the flagship model of the American brand combines a modern image and a surprising performance and totally faithful to the tradition of the concept, based on advanced technology.

Sales in the U.S. market will start in the first quarter of 2009. Europe is waiting for the release later on.

With the traction rear wheels, the new Camaro includes two options for the gasoline engine - a 3.6-liter V6 with 300 hp and variable distribution and a 6.2-liter V8 version for the sport SS, with power of 396 hp or 422 hp.

The new versions include transmission of six-speed, manual or automatic, allowing optimum fuel consumption using, for the purpose, the technology of direct injection (V6 engine) and the system of Active Fuel Management (V8 engine with automatic transmission), that will combine high-level benefits with a more economical fuel consumption.
